About

Meet Trevor

My journey of exploration began at an early age with an insatiable curiosity about life. Growing up ADHD/Dyslexic gifted me a unique perspective and creative understanding of the world.  Over time this extended into my deep love of nature, the body, and sciences. I devoted myself to martial art training: Aikido, Brazilian Juijitsu, and medical qi-gong. Movement and embodiment became my primary paths of exploration. These influences culminated in studying environmental science, followed by clinical bodywork and somatic psychology. My interests include functional fitness, dance, spiritual traditions, and Earth based shamanic practices.  Psychedelics first entered my life in my teen years, and have played a crucial role ever since.

As my personal and professional experience grew, the cultures and practices of Eastern traditions and indigenous people’s of the America’s continued to lead me into deeper personal healing and exploration of consciousness. The intersection point of embodiment, mindfulness, and prayer lead me to travel and immerse in study while forming deep cross- cultural relationships. Growing up in the greater Bay Area provided me a ripe multicultural landscape of respected teacher’s. Simultaneously, I developed a deep love for the arts and transformational culture of the Burning Man community.

Over time I have come to the core principle that all therapeutic work is in service to supporting our innate Wholeness as a moment-by- moment “Way of Being”.  My professional intersections have come to include structural integration bodywork, embodiment practices, psychedelics, and modern methods of somatic therapy. Training with the Hakomi Institute for 5 years in mindfulness-based therapy expanded my capacity for working with the psyche directly.

In 2004, I joined the newly formed Midline Bodywork in Santa Cruz Ca. My development as an instructor began in 2007 with Midline School of Integrative Bodywork. The unique environment of Midline has enabled me to grow professionally while exploring my curiosity.

Today, I hold an intersectional somatic bodywork and counseling practice.  As an instructor I offer a variety of somatically oriented public workshops and professional trainings.
